Okay, but not great. November 12, 2008
My 7 year old daughter liked it. I ordered a size smaller based on the other reviews. She's tall and thin. It was still very loose in the body and she had difficulty walking in it without lifting up the skirt. It was pretty though. We got the wig, also. She only kept the wig on for about 15 minutes. She said it was too scratchy.

I looked for a long time for the perfect mermaid costume. I couldn't exactly find it. I love that this is a good material. I love the sparkly sequence (and so does my daughter). I also really like the long sleeves so it is relatively modest and warm for Halloween night. This does run large, but I'm not a sower and I altered it just fine. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Other reviewer was right on the money--this costume runs HUGE! My daughter is almost 6, wears a size 6X, and is 44" tall & 42 lbs....and the size 4T-6X was HUGE. It was too big for my 12 year old nephew! The 3T fit her perfectly--(ordered from California Costumes).

ALSO: BUYER BEWARE--SPOOKSHOP CHARGES A 10% RESTOCKING FEE WHEN ITEMS ARE RETURNED.....

Yes, they took back my item & refunded my charges, but I LOST MONEY in the deal. Not great customer service in my book. :(

This costume runs REALLY BIG!!! My daughter is a true size 5, so I order size 4-6 and she is swimming in it. It is more like an 8. I was very disappointed and I will have to do alterations so it works for her for Halloween. :(
